These Arch Gusset Mittens are quick, warm fingerless mitts with a clever curved thumb gusset that follows the natural shape of your hand. Because that arch sits where your thumb actually moves, the fit feels comfortable rather than tight across the palm. A simple two-colour band runs around the hand, and it makes a friendly first colourwork project if you have never tried stranded knitting. Aran-weight wool works up fast on circular or double-pointed needles, so a pair takes very little time.
