Porto Wrap Free Knitting Pattern

The Porto Wrap borrows its beautiful geometry from Portuguese tilework. Nine different stitch patterns run the length of this piece, each one echoing a classic tile motif. Despite that variety, the techniques stay refreshingly simple. Knits, purls, yarn overs, decreases, and stitches worked through the back loop create every texture. Working through the sections feels like a mini stitch sampler. Two widths come with the pattern, so you can knit a slim scarf or a generous wrap. Both measure just under 70 inches long, plenty for looping or draping. Beginners will build real skills here, while experienced knitters get a satisfying rhythm. Pick a soft solid shade, and every one of those textures will show beautifully. Thank Purl Soho for sharing this free knitting pattern. The link for the free pattern is provided below photo.
